We have reached the next critical phase of YouthShift movement! Provided here is a 30 minute orientation webinar for Action Team Members. Five community Action Teams have been created - one for each recommendation found in our Call for Connection. If you have already signed up, or want to learn more about the YouthShift process and the work of the Action Teams, please listen to the Webinar!
YouthShift has invited practitioners and community members to join an Action Team to help lead this work going forward. To date, we have 89 sign-ups across the five teams.

YouthShift Moving Trains of New Orleans Report
The Moving Trains survey process involved asking YouthShift committee members and other youth leaders in the city to identify initiatives or “Moving Trains.” The Forum for Youth Investment defines a Moving Train as existing coalitions, task forces, or partnerships that have built momentum on a specific youth-related issue. The survey, developed by FYI, assesses the focus and scope of the initiatives and provides data that can be used to see how existing and future work aligns to these initiatives.

Community Outreach Survey – September 2014
The YouthShift Community Outreach survey provided community members a direct way to give feedback on the YouthShift Blueprint and the draft components of a citywide vision for youth success. The survey was developed and reviewed by the YouthShift Steering Committee and disseminated to individuals who were engaged through the YouthShift community engagement strategy described in the Blueprint.
